South Africa’s upcoming elections, expected to be the most competitive since the end of apartheid, will hinge on President Cyril Ramaphosa’s ability to address key national challenges. In his final state-of-the-nation address before the polls, Ramaphosa outlined a three-pronged agenda focusing on healthcare reform, expanded social welfare programmes, and tackling critical infrastructure bottlenecks.
